50th Anniversery of Statehood Celebration
June 28th was the kick-off celebration for the 50th anniversary of Alaska becoming a state with a re-enactment of adding the 49th star to the United States flag right here in front of the AlaskaCam and a day long celebration on 4th and G Streets, "The Busy Corner", including vintage automobiles, the United States Air Force Thunderbirds and other various goings ons.
